hahaha Yes! I am on the Dukan Diet! You can eat as much as you want of foods on specific lists. It’s basically all protein and vegetables, but I haven’t gone hungry once.
I’ve been too embarrassed to post my front progress pics thus far, but I feel like I’ve made enough of a change that it’s time I showed everyone what I’ve worked towards. There’s a gap in my thighs! My love handles are almost gone! Most importantly, my stomach is gone!! I don’t have to suck in anymore! It’s the best feeling ever and it’s only going to get better from here.
I still have a few pounds to lose, but I am SO happy with where I’m at right now.

Today is also the 1 year anniversary of when I had some of my scars removed from when I was in a car accident in September 2009. I’m so much more comfortable in my own body now. I’m proud of the scars, I’m proud of the body that I’ve worked my ass off for, and I’m proud of where my life is now. I couldn’t be happier :)
I REALLYYYYYYY didn’t want to run tonight. I was definitely going to take the yoga class. Then I did research on yoga vs. running and knew in my heart that I would burn more calories while running instead of doing yoga. I bought the 1 month of unlimited yoga, but I think I’ll use that for after the competition and give it my all with running again tomorrow and Thursday (even though I’ve had it with running!). 2 more days of exercising!!!
When I came home from my run, I had egg whites with 99% fat free ground turkey and sprinkled some Mrs. Dash on it. Not too bad!! I have more for tomorrow that I’ll be bringing with me to work, so I won’t get so hungry there. Today for lunch I had half of a rotisserie chicken that I took the skin off of and blotted because it was really greasy. We’ll see how the scale looks tomorrow! Tomorrow morning is progress pics day!
Trying to decide...should I run again tonight or do heated yoga? I want to make the most out of my workouts this week, but I'm so tired of running! 38 miles in 6 days!!

I had to weigh myself 3 times this morning to make sure the scale wasn’t screwing with me. I’m in the TEENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it. Every run, step, missed food has been worth it. That quote pops into my head, “I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy. I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.” So true.
