Today’s Weight: 120.7 lbs.
Total Lost: 16.9 lbs.
120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only that, but I’m wearing my goal bikini to a beach house party today!!!!!! GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ran 4 times around the field at the park (yesterday was my first time doing 3 times, today was my first time going 4) and took Ranchito home instead of Hazeltine. I was at 4.7 miles once I got back into my complex, so I ran around it until I hit 5 miles. I wasn’t going to settle for less!
Weigh in is tomorrow! I came in 1st place today and had gained the 1 lb, but everyone else luckily gained too. I came in 1st by a little over 2%, so I need to keep that gap and lose more on top of it. I was at 10.99% loss last Friday and this morning I was at 9.97%. So I ate well ALL day long, kept it to minimum, but enough portions. I had egg whites and chicken breast for lunch at a local restaurant, I had chicken breast marinated in a Mrs. Dash marinade (spicy teriyaki) that has close to NOTHING in it!
We’ll see where I’m at for tomorrow’s weigh in!
Tone It Up! Beach Barre Workout
It looks easy but don’t be fooled; your legs will burn.
The Plan:
So a week from tomorrow is my last day to give it my all. I need to cut out all water weight (which won’t be easy because next Wednesday is my “water weight week”). I’m determined. Here is my goal…
- Run every morning for at least 30 minutes starting on Saturday *6 days
- Run every night for at least 30 minutes starting tonight (except Saturday because I won’t be home) *8 days
- Three sets every other night starting tomorrow *4 days
- - 15 push ups
- - 20 bicep curls with 5 lb. weights
- - 20 tricep kick-backs with 5 lb. weights
- - 20 front and side shoulder raises
- - 20 rear deltoid lifts with 3 lb. weights
- Three sets every other night starting Friday *4 days
- - 20 squats
- - 20 step ups on each leg
- - 15 calf raises
- - 40 bicycles
- - 20 lifting crunches
As for food, I plan on eating egg whites for breakfast (making them before work) and eating them at 9:00am or earlier. Taking lunch between 1-2 and eating chicken that doesn’t have much seasoning/sodium. Small portions for dinner and not eating after 8:30 maximum (I’ll try and aim for 7:30 or earlier though). I might have a few veggies here and there, but they’ll mainly be snacks and small sides. I won’t be having full on salads because lettuce retains water and there’s sugar in the dressing.
I’m really bummed because today was the first time I ran around the field 3 times (instead of 2) before heading back home and my app force closed while I was doing it! My guess would be that I went 4 miles today in 42 minutes. Today was the first day that I felt amazing while running. I started out sluggish because I was tired, but when I got back to my complex, I ended up running around it twice. So I’ll play it safe and say I ran 4 miles in 40 minutes. With that, MyFitnessPal told me I burned 369 calories. You can add me on there under: JulieAnnBrody. :)
Today’s Weight: 122.7 lbs.
Total Lost: 14.9 lbs.
Driving me crazy….but I’m doing everything I can. 9 more days until the competition is DONE. Then onto the Consolidation Phase of the Dukan Diet!
I wasn’t able to do my normal run as hard as I normally have. I started out sluggish and it was really hard to get going hard. I did go around the fields twice at the park because I knew that if I did, I would at least hit 3 miles and I didn’t want to go under that. We’ll see where I am tomorrow on the scale!
My food for today included 2 regular eggs, scrambled before I ran and I had 2 of Trader Joe’s chili lime chicken burgers (patties only!!!) for dinner with a couple of carrots. Those burgers are amazing, I highly suggest picking some up! They come with 4 in a box for $3.49 in the freezer section. Here are the nutrition facts:

Today’s Weight: 122.5 lbs.
Total Lost: 15.1 lbs.
It’s still frustrating seeing this stagnation on the scale once again this morning. I am so drained from my dad being in the hospital, but I worked out Friday night and this morning. I ran over 3 miles both times, so I know the scale will eventually drop. I don’t know if it’s water weight or not, but I know that as always…if you stay consistent, it’ll happen. Sooner than later would be nice though ;)
